I am Jen and I am a skilled Children’s Occupational Therapist with over 9 years qualified experience specialising in paediatrics and over 15 years’ experience in the NHS. I have worked across all settings including: nursery, schools (specialist and mainstream), college, clinics and children’s homes. I have specialised in Early years for 7 years of my career and I am passionate about early intervention and supporting families from the beginning with advice and strategies to support childhood development through play.

I have extensive experience working with children with complex disabilities ages 0-19 years working with children and their families in all areas of their daily life and supporting their development physically and cognitively.

I am a strong advocate for 24hr postural management, and have excellent knowledge, skills, and experience in completing postural assessments and the specialist equipment available in paediatrics including functional seating, sleep systems and moving and handling equipment.

I am also working with @Helping Hemi Hands to provide intensive therapy programmes in Modified Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy (mCIMT) and Bimanual Therapy to enhance upper limb function for children with Hemiplegia.

I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), The Royal College of Occupational Therapy (RCOT) and I have a full clean Enhanced DBS.

I am flexible in my approach and I have a clinic space set up at home to complete assessment and therapy intervention however, I am happy to come to your home or school/college/nursery if you prefer.
